1. Get good grades in school. Most auto insurance companies offered 10 to 25% discounts to students with an average of B or better.

2. Be a careful driver. Maintain a clean driving record as much as you can. If you get in an accident or even a simple traffic violation like speeding ticket that will surely affect your driving record thus would lead in your dad’s increase in policy rate.

3. Enroll in a defensive driving school. It does not only make you a better driver but also assures your dad in getting a cheap auto insurance.

4. Be satisfied with a cheap car. Inexpensive cars cost lower to insure than expensive ones.

5. Get a car that has enough safety features and anti-theft devices. Car insurance companies offer lower rates to these kinds of cars because they are considered safety wise.

Be a responsible daughter, a responsible student, and you’ll be a responsible driver.
